These terms apply to all custom commissions for illustrations, designs and other artworks.

By placing an order, you automatically agree to these Terms of Service (TOS). I am not liable for any issues arising from a failure to read these terms beforehand.

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. If you are a minor, the transaction must be handled by a legal guardian on your behalf.

These terms take effect the moment you agree to the commission, regardless of the platform. The agreement is considered active starting from our first message regarding the order or the moment of the first transaction.

This document serves as a record of our agreement, and I reserve the right to refer to it to protect my rights in case of a dispute.

All personal and business information exchanged is confidential. Both parties agree not to disclose such information to third parties without prior written consent.

By placing an order, you confirm that you have reviewed my portfolio, understand my artstyle, and agree to receive work created in that style. I do not mimic other artists' styles upon request.

No AI Policy: All my works are hand-drawn. I do not use generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) in my workflow and guarantee the originality of every piece.

I reserve the right to refuse a commission based on its content, subject matter, or any other reason.

By placing an order, you confirm that you are the primary point of contact and take full responsibility for decision-making and approving each stage of the work.

Before work begins, please provide a clear and complete description of your idea, including references. You guarantee that all character designs and materials provided were obtained legally and that you have the full right to use them.

I prefer working with visual references. If you provide only a text description without images, you automatically agree to my visual interpretation of your idea. No claims regarding "mismatched expectations" will be accepted in this case.

Work begins only after receiving full or partial prepayment.

I freely accept edits during the sketch stage. However, once the sketch is approved, the core idea/pose of the drawing is final.

You are entitled to a maximum of 3 free minor revisions. Any subsequent changes will incur an additional fee.

I do not make significant changes to a finished illustration. If you wish to change something global at the final stage (e.g., outfit, pose, etc.), it will require an extra charge. Payment for such edits must be made before they are implemented.

During the process, I will share WIPs (Work in Progress) with you so we can discuss details and adjustments.

If you do not respond to my messages or approve a stage for more than 14 days without prior notice, I will suspend work on your commission and move it to the end of my queue.

Timezone: Eastern European Time (Kyiv, GMT+2 / GMT+3).

Please note that English is not my native language, and my work schedule can be unstable. I appreciate your understanding. Please check in advance if my commission slots are open.

I am always open to communication; feel free to ask any questions. I try to reply within a day as soon as I see your message.

If I don’t respond for a while, there is usually a reason: either the current stage is not ready to show yet, or I am away. Sometimes my response time can reach one week – this allows me to get back to you with a finished result or more specific information.

All prices are listed in USD. The final price is fixed before work begins; however, it may exceed the base price depending on the complexity of the idea and your additional requirements.

Additional fees apply for rush orders, commercial use, and private (secret) projects. If a project is agreed to be secret, I commit not to publish any WIPs (Work in Progress) or the finished result until the agreed-upon date.

I accept payments via PayPal in USD (other methods like Payoneer, Ko-fi, or Patreon must be discussed separately). I do not accept cryptocurrency as payment.

All payment system fees must be covered by the client.

Please do not send any funds until we have fully agreed on all details. Payment is expected within 2 days after the final approval of the order. If payment is not received, I reserve the right to cancel your slot in the queue.

I offer several options: 100% upfront; 50/50 (50% before work begins and 50% mid-process, with the specific milestone for the second payment determined individually); or separate prepayments for each illustration/item.

I will begin drawing and add you to my queue only after receiving the payment according to our chosen structure.

By paying for the order, you confirm your understanding that you are purchasing digital content only - no physical copies will be delivered.

You agree not to initiate a chargeback through your bank or payment system and to follow my refund policy as described below.

3rd order – 5%

7th order – 10%

10th order and beyond – 15% (this maximum discount is yours forever!)

This cumulative discount applies exclusively to commissions for full-render works.

For a single order of 5 or more characters, you receive a 10% discount on each character.

For a single order of 10 or more characters, you receive a 20% discount on each character.

Discounts do not stack with each other or with other promotions/special offers. In case of an overlap, the single highest available discount will be applied.

All purchases count towards your loyalty tier, regardless of complexity (from sketches to full render).

By default, I do not offer full refunds (except for the specific situations described below).

Please note: Refunds for the purchase of adoptables are not provided under any circumstances, as you receive immediate full access to the digital content.

You are entitled to a full refund if I have not started working on your commission within the agreed timeframe after receiving payment (provided no deadline extension was previously agreed upon).

If, for any reason, I am unable to complete your order myself, I will contact you to discuss the situation. In this case, I will issue a refund proportional to the uncompleted portion of the work.

If you choose to cancel the order while it is in progress, I will refund the remaining amount minus the cost of the work already performed.

If you go out of contact (ghosting) and do not approve work stages for more than 30 days without prior notice, the order will be considered abandoned. In this case, no refund will be issued.

Note on Fees: If a refund is issued at your request, you are responsible for covering any payment system transaction fees (as compensation for the inconvenience). If the refund is due to my fault (e.g., failure to start on time), I will cover all transfer fees.

0% progress — 90% refund

25% progress — 70% refund

50% progress — 40% refund

75% progress — 10% refund

100% progress — No refund

Turnaround Time (TAT): It takes me from 2 weeks to 3 months (rarely longer) to complete an order. Exact deadlines depend on the complexity of your idea, the amount of work, and my current workload.

Priority Slot: Standard work is done on a first-come, first-served basis. If you wish to skip the queue and receive your art faster, you may discuss purchasing a Priority Slot with me. If I agree, the order cost will increase by 50%.

Deadlines: If you need the art by a specific date, please inform me when placing the order. Please do not rush me during the process without paying for a priority slot: pressure to speed up the work may lead to a decrease in quality.

Technical Specs: By default, I draw at 300-350 DPI and up to 4000 pixels on the longest side, which is suitable for high-quality printing. If you require a specific (very large) canvas size, please let me know before work begins.

Workflow: During the process, I will share intermediate stages (WIPs) and ask for your feedback. If there are any delays on my end or the deadline shifts, I will notify you in advance.

Pausing Work: If you need to put the work on hold for personal reasons, you may do so for up to 3 months, but only by prior agreement (otherwise, the 30-day inactivity rule from Section 6 will apply).

Final Deliverables: You will receive the finished illustration in .PNG and .JPG formats — without watermarks and (if requested) with a transparent background.

File Transfer: Finished files are delivered via a cloud storage link (e.g., Google Drive). Please download them to your device, as I do not store files indefinitely (the link will be active for 30 days).

Source Files: I do not provide working source files ( .PSD, etc.) by default. If you need them, this must be discussed in advance and will require an additional fee.

I reserve the right to refuse a commission if the proposed idea causes personal discomfort or contradicts my internal principles, even if it is not explicitly listed in the "I DON'T" section.

I retain all copyright and intellectual property rights to the created illustrations (including sketches and work stages). This means I am free to use them for my portfolio, social media, website, livestreams, and self-promotion.

If the cooperation is terminated early or the order is cancelled, I reserve the right to reuse any work-in-progress (sketches, palettes, character concepts) for my personal projects or to create adoptables for sale.

Personal Use includes: posting the art on your social media (avatars, banners, posts) without direct monetization; printing for personal use; and using it as decorative elements for non-commercial websites or channels.

Commercial Use includes: using the work in monetized content (streams, videos), selling merchandise with the artwork, resale, or using the art as part of a commercial product. A Commercial License requires an additional fee (typically +100% of the original price, unless otherwise agreed).

Branding & Mascots: If your order involves brand identity (e.g., a unique mascot, logo, etc.), the intellectual property rights to the design are transferred exclusively to you. However, I retain the right to showcase the illustration in my portfolio (unless a Non-Disclosure Agreement / NDA is signed). You are free to use, produce, and modify this design for any personal or commercial purposes.

Adoptable Resale: Reselling characters purchased from me is permitted, but the resale price must not exceed the original purchase price. Exception: The price may be higher if the character is sold with additional paid content (artworks) commissioned after the initial purchase.

When publishing the work, you must not claim it as your own and must credit me as the artist: @RVMartist.

On my part, I always tag clients when posting finished art or processes. If you wish to remain anonymous or do not want to be tagged with an active link, please inform me in advance.

If a post needs to be held until a specific date (e.g., the artwork is a gift), please let me know before work begins.

You are not permitted to redraw, recolor, or substantially modify the finished work without my permission. However, you are allowed to crop the image for use as avatars/banners and apply light color filters for social media.

Strictly Prohibited: Any use of my work in projects related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning for model generation or training, as well as for NFTs, blockchain use, and similar commercial platforms.

You are responsible for any losses or third-party claims arising from your violation of these usage rules.

On my part, if the final result does not match our initial agreement, I will make every effort to correct the situation.

Mutual Respect: I value comfortable and professional communication. I strive to make our collaboration pleasant and expect mutual politeness and respect for personal boundaries in return.

Unacceptable Behavior: Any manifestation of aggression, rudeness, manipulation, pressure, or personal attacks will lead to the immediate and permanent termination of the commission.

Consequences of Misconduct: In the event of termination due to unethical behavior:

No refunds will be issued (the prepayment is forfeited).

No finished files or work-in-progress materials (sketches, lineart, etc.) will be delivered.

You will be blacklisted, and all future cooperation will be impossible.

Reputation Protection: I reserve the right to refuse service or block a user in the event of public attempts to damage my reputation or the spreading of knowingly false information.

Right to Refuse Service: I retain the right to blacklist any user and refuse further cooperation without providing an explanation.
